Pre Construction Architectural Renderings
1500 Mount Diablo Boulevard, Walnut Creek, CA
Seeing post construction photos of projects I work on is always great. Comparing those photos to the pre construction renders is a learning experience. Seeing lighting and materials in real life is important and a big piece of getting a render to work. The view point does not have to match to learn from reviewing the ‘before’ rendering and ‘after’ photography.
Working on this project for Brian Hirahara of BH Development from close to inception, it was great to see how the last pre-construction rendering compared to an amazing photograph taken by Jim Fidelibus.
Arch & Tower — Robert Mondavi Winery Tasting Room, Napa, CA
Here is a render / reality image comparison from a recent project. Arch & Tower is the temporary tasting room for Robert Mondavi Winery. Napa Design Partners was the Project Architect / Designer for this renovation. Overall, I think the render was a great pre-construction representation of the future space.
