Watercolor Art

Alongside my work in architectural visualization, I’m a watercolor artist who paints wherever I happen to be — in the studio and en plein air.

My art has appeared in more than twenty additional art and architecture exhibitions. Watercolors have been published in Big Book of Contemporary Illustration (Batsford, 2009), Orion Magazine (2005), In Praise of Sailing (Laughing Elephant Press, 2004), Artists’ Impressions in Architectural Design (Spon Press, 2002), and A Gallery of Maritime Art (Rockport Publishers, 1998).

My work includes both studio paintings and plein air work completed on location. The plein air portfolio includes youth sports scenes — capturing games and practices in the moment — and watercolors painted around Lake Tahoe.
