JMcSwain Studios is a brand within Rendering House, LLC, a 12-person firm of illustrators with a broad range of talents in visual media, ranging from hand-produced watercolor paintings to digital photo-realistic renderings and animations. Over its ten-year history, the firm has completed thousands of renderings featuring projects in the residential, commercial, and institutional realms. As the firm’s practice has diversified, its services have even expanded into new and interactive technologies in order to facilitate stronger connections between marketing and design professionals and their target audiences.

Having graduated with a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the N.C. State School of Design in 1995, and after practicing the profession and becoming a licensed Landscape Architect, Jeff understands and now employs the pattern language of place-making to visually describe the plans of architects, planners, and developers in a way that garners widespread appeal.
