David Foden is primarily an artist trained in Manchester UK, who works as a freelance illustrator, and is a member of The Society of Architectural Illustration (UK), with 20 years experience working as a water colour architectural illustrator, and seven years working as a digital illustrator, working with CGI photo realistic renderings. Both water colour, and digital renderings, demonstrate an architectural appreciation, accuracy and understanding of the subject. As an architectural illustrator, nothing is more important than overall composition, this gives meaning and context to a building and its environs, placing it believably in its real world setting, I think this is what David Foden achieves in his work! where many architectural illustrators may fail. The perspectives are produced in a variety of distinctive styles, including: tight photo realism through to loose washy impressionistic sketches. These are achieved using the two media:- traditional WATER COLOUR illustrations on handmade water colour board, and PHOTO REALISTIC CGI supplied on CD or DVD archive, and accompanied by photo quality prints to any size required. David Foden also produce high resolution animated camera fly through and walk through movies (this can be found on the gallery page above “digital illustration”) of your designs, authored to DVD or CD for the ultimate in architectural presentation.
